COMMERCIAL ROOFING APPLICATION

Businesses can count on us to fully assess and address all their commercial property needs. We offer the most comprehensive estimate and try to fit your budget. We know how expensive and difficult understanding all that is involved with a new commercial roof.

That is why we prepare our clients with a dedicated team member that can discuss and explain the multi-step process. Often an unaddressed commercial roof will become structurally compromised, which is why we are here to address all your issues from the start.

Commercial roofing can involve core sampling, and an evaluation to see exactly how many roofs are layered on top of your structure. We need to know exactly what we are getting into, and how many old roofs we will have to put into dumpsters.

Then an interior inspection is required to see the underside of the roof, and hope fully get a full understanding of the job from what we can see. Infared technology is used in some cases to detect moisture damage that a human can not, and comes with a fee. Outside, our drones get some video and pictures of the siding or roof to get a broader visual on the commercial property.

Rubber Roofing vs. TPO Roofing vs. Torch-Applied Roofing

Rubber Roofing
Material: Made from recycled tires, EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is durable and flexible.
Lifespan: Typically lasts 20-40 years with proper maintenance.
Installation: Usually installed as a single-ply membrane; can be fully adhered or mechanically fastened.
Weather Resistance: Excellent resistance to UV rays, ozone, and extreme temperatures.
Maintenance: Requires minimal maintenance; occasional inspections and cleaning are recommended.

TPO Roofing
Material: Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) is a single-ply roofing membrane known for its energy efficiency.
Lifespan: Generally lasts 25+ years, depending on quality and installation.
Installation: Available in rolls and can be mechanically fastened, adhered, or ballasted.
Energy Efficiency: Reflective surface helps reduce energy costs by minimizing heat absorption.
Seam Strength: Heat-welded seams create a durable, watertight bond, reducing leakage risks.

Torch-Applied Roofing
Material: Typically consists of modified bitumen membranes applied using an open flame.
Lifespan: Can last 20-30 years, but requires skilled installation for optimal performance.
Installation: Involves using a torch to melt the roofing material and bond it to the substrate.
Durability: Highly resistant to punctures and tears; suitable for various weather conditions.
Installation Risks: Requires safety precautions due to the use of an open flame, necessitating trained professionals.

Summary Comparison
Cost: Rubber roofing tends to be more affordable upfront, while TPO and torch-applied roofing may have varying costs depending on installation complexity.
Energy Efficiency: TPO stands out for energy savings, while rubber and torch-applied options provide durability and weather resistance.

From beginning to end the experience was professional, prompt and giving the attention to detail that you hope for. I appreciated how communicative Jacob was (both visual and verbal) and find that is a rare quality in contractors. The price was fair for the work done. I will call him again in a heartbeat!

This guy was amazing. Had a small breeze way that was falling apart. He came over, tore it all off, and put it back together and cleaned up all debris in just half the day by himself. He was very respectful, honest, and hardworking Would definitely be calling him again if I have any other issue and definitely recommending to my friends.
